Surrendering to God's Will
Devotional: When we pray, we often try to enforce our will on God, asking Him to move in specific ways. However, true surrender means saying, 'God, just let it be what you would have it to be. I'm listening, I'm waiting. And I'm here.' Paul and Silas exemplified this surrender by trusting God's plan even when it led them to prison. Their willingness to follow God's will, even in adversity, resulted in a miraculous deliverance. Surrendering to God's will means trusting Him completely, even when His plans differ from ours.
Verse: Isaiah 6:8
Question: In what areas of your life do you need to surrender your will to God's will?
Prayer: Father, help me to surrender my will to Yours. Teach me to trust Your plans, even when they differ from mine. I am listening, waiting, and ready to follow Your lead. Amen.
